Troop 27 Summer Camp Details

Parents and Scouts,

Please join us for Summer Camp May 31st through June 6th at Woodruff Scout Camp in Blairsville GA. Scouts will have an opportunity to work on any number of 75 Merit badges, enjoy great food at the dining hall and incredible water sports at the Lake. Every year this is one of the most exciting trips the scouts have an opportunity to experience. Don't wait, please sign up as I need to schedule classes by April 20th. Please see this extensive Program Guide for details. Look for more emails to come out this week.

Camp Card Fundraiser

Parents and Scouts,

Please note we have started a fund raiser in which all active scouts registered with Troop 27 are required to sell 10 Scout Camp cards. The cards are $10 each and they have discounts for local businesses and restaurants. We are distributing the cards at our scout meeting on 3/2. We need to collect $100 from each scout for the sale of the cards by 3/30/26. If you have not picked them up yet please do so at our next meeting or make arrangements to pick them up from my house (720 Spencer Mill Court, Johns Creek) this week. Any active scout who does not participate will be accessed a $100 charge to their scout account. We need 100% participation as this is our primary fundraiser.

Scouting for Food

Troop 27 Families,

As we start this holiday season, Troop 27, along with our Charter John's Creek Christian Church will be participating in a food drive to help stock the shelves of the North Fulton Community Charities. We will be collecting donations now through November 2nd at all scout meetings. Please review the list of items they need most and focus your donations on these. The Patrol with the most canned goods will be given patrol points in this years contest. This is a great way to give back to the community we are a part of and embody the oath and law of scouting.
