Troop 27 Families, 

As we start this holiday season, Troop 27, along with our Charter John's Creek Christian Church will be participating in a food drive to help stock the shelves of the North Fulton Community Charities.  We will be collecting donations now through November 2nd at all scout meetings.  Please review the list of items they need most and focus your donations on these.  The Patrol with the most canned goods will be given patrol points in this years contest.  This is a great way to give back to the community we are a part of and embody the oath and law of scouting.  

Please join us for Summer Camp June 1 through the 7th at Woodruff Scout Camp in Blairsville GA.  Scouts will have an opportunity to work on any number of 72 Merit badges, enjoy great food at the dining hall and incredible water sports at the Lake.  This summer will be our best summer camp yet!.  Don't wait, please sign up as I need to schedule classes by April 14th.  Look for more emails to come out on this in the coming weeks.  

Scouts and Parents, You can refer to 2025 Atlanta Area Council's program schedule here. It's a great opportunity for earning Merit badges and other leadership programs.

Back to school is now in full swing for Fulton and Forsyth County, so the troop will be back from our Summer Break.  We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday August 12.  On this night, parents please stay as we will be having a parent's meeting to review the program for the rest of 2024 and into 2025.  Please have a parent for every boy to stay at the meeting this Monday August 12.

Troop 27 Court of Honor is set for Sunday evening April 16, 2023, at 6pm at Johns Creek Christian Church.

Sign up is live on the Troop 27 website for our spring Court of Honor and Dinner.  Please register on the website for the scout and the number of guests and family members who will be attending.  The cost of the dinner is free for the scouts and $10 for each family member or guest who attends.  Dinner and dessert will be provided which includes vegetarian and meat options.  Please come out and support the troop and celebrate the boys' achievements.  We will be recognizing the accomplishments and outstanding service provided to our troop.  This promises to be a great night of fellowship and recognition.  Please sign up before April 10, so we can get an accurate count for the event.  We can't wait to see everyone on April 16--parents, siblings, scouts, guests, and any other family members who can join in the festivities.    Sign up today!!
