Back to school is now in full swing for Fulton and Forsyth County, so the troop will be back from our Summer Break.  We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday August 12.  On this night, parents please stay as we will be having a parent's meeting to review the program for the rest of 2024 and into 2025.  Please have a parent for every boy to stay at the meeting this Monday August 12.

Troop 27 Court of Honor is set for Sunday evening April 16, 2023, at 6pm at Johns Creek Christian Church.

Sign up is live on the Troop 27 website for our spring Court of Honor and Dinner.  Please register on the website for the scout and the number of guests and family members who will be attending.  The cost of the dinner is free for the scouts and $10 for each family member or guest who attends.  Dinner and dessert will be provided which includes vegetarian and meat options.  Please come out and support the troop and celebrate the boys' achievements.  We will be recognizing the accomplishments and outstanding service provided to our troop.  This promises to be a great night of fellowship and recognition.  Please sign up before April 10, so we can get an accurate count for the event.  We can't wait to see everyone on April 16--parents, siblings, scouts, guests, and any other family members who can join in the festivities.    Sign up today!!

Parents of all NEW SCOUTS who joined Troop 27 in 2022 or 2023 please attend an orientation meeting at Johns Creek Christian Church lobby Monday night February 27 at 715pm.  We will be reviewing parent responsibilities, answering all your Scout questions, and completing all necessary paperwork on this night.  If you need to pay fees, please bring a check book or you may pay on PayPal.  Try and make every effort to have at least one parent per new boy attend this meeting this MONDAY!!!!!

Troop 27 is in the process of Rechartering for the year 2023.  We will be registering every boy for the troop next year and using funds from your scout account to register you for 2023.  If you are a senior in high school and/or 18 years old, we will be taking you OFF the roster for 2023 unless you let us know before we submit the recharter.

Do you want to be a Patrol Leader, the Senior Patrol Leader? Or the Quartermaster? Now is your chance to take a leadership position in Troop 27. Be one of the Scouts that decides the activities and directions for the Troop and help run the day to day activities. If. you are interested in applying for this position please fill out the Scout Leadership Application and submit it to; leadership_app@johnscreek27.mytroop.us, by the deadline.
